In 2023, the United Methodist Denomination split over issues of interpretation and the authority of scripture. Both of the churches I served, voted to disaffiliate and become part of the Global Methodist Church. I transferred my credentials and was approved and appointed to serve as lead pastor at these same two churches.

In 2019, I transferred my license to the North Carolina United Methodist Conference to be closer to my family. Once licensed, a Bishop and his staff reviewed my credentials and appointed me as lead pastor at two churches.
